What is the best way to lose fat?

There is no “best way”.

It doesn’t matter if you follow paleo, IIFYM, intuitive eating, intermittent fasting or a meal plan, you need to be in a CALORIC DEFICIT. Meaning, you need to be eating less calories than you burn.

I see it all the time - people eat “clean” and are wondering why they’re not losing weight. It’s because they’re eating too much of those said foods. It doesn’t matter what your food choices are, you just need a be in a deficit. Now, I'm not telling you to go and eat a box of Oreos as long as they "fit" your macros. You should be eating mostly nutrient-dense, whole foods, and leaving room for some dark chocolate or a treat IF you crave it. The point of tracking your macros is to be flexible, and therefore not feel restricted on deprived.

Tracking macros for fat loss is like using a GPS to get to your destination. Even if you don’t want to do it long-term, just track your food for a day or two to see where you’re at. You’d be surprised, especially if you tend to snack/graze mindlessly throughout the day.

Enough with the BS “quick fixes”. They only provide temporary results. Be patient. Take your time. Be consistent. You need a plan that is maintainable and sustainable in the long term. 👏
